The James Beard Foundation

New York, NY, 2005
Extensive renovations to the Greenwich Village townhouse of the late chef and author James Beard, now home to a foundation dedicated to the advancement of the culinary arts. The architects prepared a Master Plan, the execution of which was phased to match the fund-raising capabilities of the not-for-profit client. Restoration of James Beard’s garden and legendary kitchen was completed in 1992. Subsequent renovations have included façade restoration, garden, dining rooms, library and a full central air conditioning system.
