Alumni Auditorium, Columbia University School of Medicine

New York, NY, 1993
Complete renovation of a 720-seat auditorium, the largest assembly space on the Health Sciences campus. The School’s requirement was that the hall serve for lecture classes during the day and convert to a performing arts stage at night. This is achieved by a split stage on lifts, a 35 foot-wide chalkboard that drops on cables from the fly space, and highly advanced AV capabilities.
