Luay Bahoora is an NCARB certified architect with thirteen years of experience in the field of architecture. Mr. Bahoora has partnered closely with Belmont Freeman on numerous projects of varying programmatic type, scale, and budget. Prior to joining Belmont Freeman Architects, Mr. Bahoora served as an Associate at Stonely Pelsinski architects Neukomm (SPaN) where he successfully managed a variety of high end commercial, retail, and residential projects. Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, Mr. Bahoora is well experienced in all phases of the construction process, from schematic design to project completion. Mr. Bahoora has served as Project Designer and/or Project Architect on the following selected projects:

• Staten Island Ferry – St. George & Whitehall Terminal. Commissioned by the New York City Economic Development Corporation, this project involved both the renovation of the existing concourse storefronts as well as the creation of design guidelines for future retail tenants at both the St. George and Whitehall ferry terminals in NYC.

• 59th Street Recreation Center. This 23,000 square foot building was designed for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and entails the renovation of an historic 1902 bathhouse, the construction of a major addition and the landscaping of extensive outdoor recreation space. Currently under contact negotiation with qualified contractors, the building will contain an upgraded swimming pool, gymnasium, fitness center, aerobics studio, new lockers and multi-purpose community rooms.

• 330 Bleecker Street. Located in Brooklyn, New York, this new 10,000 square foot residential building was designed to maximize the permitted square footage on the site. The six story building features ten spacious two-bedroom apartments with new appliances, custom millwork, and private terraces for each apartment. The project is scheduled to begin construction in May, 2009.
